Education
When I was 8, my parents gave me a copy of The Way Things Work, by David Macaulay because apparently I liked to ask questions about, well, how things worked. Not just how things like radios and microscopes worked, but things like religion, art, politics, life, death, violence, war, and love. You know. The simple stuff.
I guess I didn't ever really stop. I like understanding systems.
I also like learning that sometimes there's no way to know exactly how something works. Sometimes the system is too complex. And sometimes, there's nothing to "know", as it were. At least, nothing that words can capture.
So below you'll find a list of the different ways I've learned — the training, books, and podcasts that have impacted me on a deep level. This list will continue to grow.
I am forever indebted to my teachers.
